They genuinely care about those around them and the well-being of humanity. Social causes are important to Ones. Lovers of justice and reform, ones care deeply about having a noble cause and a higher calling. If something is worth living for, it is also worth dying for. Behind the Design
When thinking of what plant would best capture the essence of the Reformer, a rose immediately came to mind. Roses are perfect in their own way and bring so much beauty and perfection to the world around them. They cause us to stop and pay attention to the detailed beauty we so easily pass by on the everyday hustle. Roses have become a symbol of love, friendship, enduring passion, humility, and innocence. We thought of a rose as the epitome of all flowers, expressing perfection above all else. They carry the essence of excellence, beauty and nobility. Reformers are the roses of the Enneagram.
Behind the Writing
Noble. Ones have such a heart for what is righteous. Thus, the fixation for perfection. We love and appreciate that about our ones. Leaders of change and lovers of reform, ones will always strive to do what is right. Ones care deeply about having a noble cause and a higher calling. The word noble means “of an exalted moral or mental character or excellence." We wanted this to be a reminder that although the world will never be perfect, there is always something noble about pursuing what is righteous.
